Marc’s Choice, A Story of the Time of Diocletian, by Sister Mary Cornelius, is complete! This was our first introduction to the Catholic Treasury Books set and it is still one of our favorites. We had no idea at the time how impossible this book is to find. And with a dust jacket, no less! We stumbled upon this copy quite Providentially at just the right time. It is an historical fiction, wherein the main characters are fiction, and the author takes a little creative license, but their story is set in a real time of persecution with several true supporting characters. It is inspiring and engaging for youth and adults alike. Narrated by Patrick. Includes a coloring page.
The illustrations and the coloring page spoil the ending, and we recommend waiting until after the story to view them!
Days of Praise for Mary Our Mother, by Catherine Beebe, is complete! This is a wonderful book to introduce children to the special feast days of Our Lady. Use as a short meditation and instruction as each feast arrives throughout the Catholic calendar. There is one for nearly every month, beginning with The Purification on Feb. 2nd. Narrated by Karen. Includes a coloring page.
Boy with a Mission, the Story of Francis Marto, by The Daughters of St. Paul, is complete! This is the touching and stirring story of little Francisco of Fatima, his role and experience in the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima, and his short life of great sacrifice that followed. This is the first work of our new narrator, Richard! Includes a coloring page.
